It sounded as though that he had high experience with many instruments since he was a small child, which is a good thing. It sounded as though his father taught him all sorts of music as well, unlike her who only known one piece of instrument, which is the piano. She looked up at him and gave him small nod with complete interest. "Wow, sounded like your dad wanted you to become naturally good at playing all sorts of instruments. That's a wonderful thing and it's really sweet that your father was even teaching you on how to play. That sounded really beautiful." She said, with a grin and arches her body towards him, willing to hear more from him. She wished that her mother would teach her more of a variety of instruments, but since she mainly grew up with classical music, she was mainly happy with that. Hopefully, during her experience with Auradon, she would be able to learn about all sorts of instruments such as the violin or the drums since they were orchestral instruments that some can play at a sympathy. She was at least glad that she could at least come to this area specifically to the piano on whenever she wanted to play with it. She heard him playing more keys when she was playing playing with him and she did feel as though there was a friendship slowly connecting. She did not mind playing with him when being in the same place as him. She heard him mentioning that it was weird that he's playing in a different environment instead of at home, and she nodded at it. "Well, although playing at home is natural, playing here is still nice. I still feel as though I am home when playing here." She said, when playing a couple of more keys. She felt her body posture feeling natural when playing the instrument, as she did enjoying playing the piano.

Kanato sat next to her on the music bench "Back home, half the keys on the piano were missing. At least on mine, my father, Forte, played a good as new pipe organ down in the living room." Kanato still had no idea just HOW his father acquired it, but he wasn't going to ask too many questions.

As the young girl saw him sitting next to her, she did scoot a little bit to the right so, they both could sit down without having one of them falling off the bench. Although the bench was pretty long, she wanted to at least make room for the both of them. While continuing to play the piano, she was able to listen to him mentioning that his piano was only able to have only a couple of keys since they were missing and she was not sure if the organ was old or just came in new with just a lot of repairs, but, did not want to ask too mny questions regarding it. She just listened to him while playing, and she was nodding her head as though she did understand on what it could feel to play something and then half the machinery was not working at all. Although her mother could not afford the piano back in London, she did at least try to remember the rat hum from the music that her mother played on the music box, that was a bit old-fashioned compared to boom boxes, but, she was able to listen to it and her brain could at least process the notes and while he was playing, she was at least humming as thought she was memorizing them. She looked the left and saw Kanato and she nodded, as though she did feel pretty bad for him. "Wow, they were gone? That must have been horrible, as I know from what I read, most people would feel very frustrated when that could happen since I knew that most players would want an instrument that looks brand new instead of an old one and they had to at least get a job or two to pay off on what they wanted, especially if they wanted new instruments." She said, hoping that some knowledge of having the frustration of professional players going through the same frustrations as he did, especially with the old piano, with having very few keys. She then heard him mentioning that he had a father who was able to playing a new pipe organ, which was obviously different from an ordinary piano, and it sounded as though it did work very well, compared to the last one; that put a giant smile on her face since it did work. "Wow, that sounds awesome. I'm really glad that the new pipe organ wokrked out in the end, Kanato. As long as it works fine, I think you are good to play on it as well." She complimented, with a small smile as she continued to play some more, and she was at least feeling glad that she was able to talk about music with someone, and him sharing that story regarding the pianos went from sad to being glad, as she could imagine people in the family working hard to get their money's worth to buy a new item to play, especially an instrument.
