Jude had really nothing to do after class. There was no homework left for him to do and he really didn't feel like going to one of the cafes or library. He however, did want to write to his mom and let him know how he was doing. The Plaza was empty at the moment and the only thing was the gentle sound of the fountain to calm any unsettling nerves.
Pulling out a pen and a sheet of paper he looked down at the paper, wondering how to start the letter.

As the teenaged blonde haired girl was walking around the area, she saw a student that did look familiar and it was someone from one of her classes. He saw that he was writing something, and it was either a letter or something, like that, so, she decided to do the same. If only Taran could do the same instead of playing with his wooden sword. Taran, however at the moment was working his shift since it was after school hours, so, she got some time off to meet up with some fellow classmates. As she walked on closer to the young man, she waved gently to him with a small smile. "Good day to you." She said, and gave him a small curtsy.

Jude looked up from his letter, a bit surprised to find that anyone else would hang around here. Normally everyone else went to hang out with friends, go to work or head back to the store. He stood up though and gave a small bow. "Good day to you as well Miss." he said, "What brings you out here?"
He wanted to at least be a bit respectful and know the girl's name before working on his letter.

She saw the young guy looking at her and she gave off a warm smile to him, and saw that there was no one else but the two of them. She could imagine Taran working by delivering papers or doing homework from his professors. As she saw him giving her a bow, she blushes slightly and gives him another curtsy. She heard her asking a question as to why she is in the area, and she taps her chin. "Well, at the moment, I just got out of classes and I am here to write a letter to mother and father, and I thought that this would be the first place to write it, and besides, it did look quiet and peaceful, compared to the cafe..." She said. She then got out her feather, ink, and some paper. "If you need extra paper, I have some." She offered, with a small grin.

Jude shook his head. "Oh, no, no that alright. I have paper already. Just trying to find the best words to say. It's kind of hard to think about what to say." he tapped his pen against the paper. "A lot of stuff hasn't happened yet so i feel like if i just say I'm doing well, it leaves a lot to be desired."
Jude himself, liked to put a lot of thought into things. Especially written work. "I don't want my mom to worry too much."

She could tell that he was having some trouble on the introduction, and it was completely understandable. Whenever she did write a letter to her parents, she did sometimes have a hard time by just making two choices: putting down every event or putting one thing at a time in separate letters. "I understand, if you want, I can give you a tip. Maybe you can tell your mother that you like your classes. Perhaps describe the classes and your classmates. That is what I did in my last letter. Also, tell her on you doing well here." She suggested, and gave him a small, friendly wink. She hoped that advice could help him get started on what to write. She did like to put detail in her letters as well, so, she was tapping her chin to talk about on what to write to mother.

Jude nodded, tapping the pen on the paper in rhythmic tone. "I think that's a good way to start but I feel like there is something missing. This is the first real time I've been away from home. My mom must miss me. I miss her too but I don't want her to worry about me." He frowned. "I guess its strange since i haven't really written a letter to home very often."
He glanced around the plaza, watching some of the birds. "What about you? Do you miss home?"

She was feeling glad that her suggestion was going to work for him, and as she was going to start writing, she was seeing him frown regarding that this was his first time being away from home. "I understand..." She said, and nods at him, and thought about mother and father. "Taran, my little brother and myself are first time travelers away from home, and I am responsible for him..." She said, with a small, low sigh. "My parents must miss me and Taran as well.." She said, with another small sigh, and was worried that she may get into trouble if Taran gets into serious danger. Although she may not find it strange to write a letter, she somewhat had no idea on what to say at times. "Yes, indeed." She said, and agreed with him. She did see some birds as well, and thought that they were pretty to look at. "As for missing home, I miss it. But, I know that they could contact me through letters." She said, with a small smile.

Jude blinked in surprise. He wasn't sure if he had heard right. Time Traveling? No. That didn't make sense. It must have been just her traveling away from home for the first time. "Your parents didn't want you to come here?" he asked curiously. It seemed like a good place to go, why would parents not want them to go. Some parents would rather not have their child go away from home right away.

As the young girl saw him blinking his eyes at her comment, as being the first time going away from home, she nods her head. It was a little heartbreaking leaving her parents for the first time in forever, but, it was time to at least have an opportunity to have independence. Taran was at first excited to go to Auradon since he was up for new adventures. "To answer your question, my parents wanted us to come here. I was nervous to come here, honestly. My little brother, on the other hand, wanted to come here to at least explore. I have to keep my eye on him most of the time though." She said, with a small chuckle. She then grabbed her bag and took out a photo of her family. "The younger brother is Taran, and these are my parents." She said, with a smile, as she was glad to at least show him what her family looked like.
