It was quiet in the Enchanted Forest, the only sounds were the occasional bird whistle or chirp and the quiet burbling's of the stream where a young, juvenile male fox sat staring intently at the water bellow him. He was completely still except for the odd twitch of his nose or the restless swipe of his tail. Suddenly there was a flash of movement in the stream and a rusty, red paw whipped out, swiping at the water's surface! Within seconds, a large silver trout was sailing out of the water and landed on the riverbank. It began flopping desperately as the young fox casually walked over to it. A quick bite on the fish's skull stopped any movement. Puck licked his lips, "Ah, breakfast." He said as he lay down to enjoy his meal.
Then, just as he was about to dig in, his right ear twitched as it picked up on a quiet, unknown sound just on the edge of hearing. Inwardly, Puck frowned. He immediately stood up and listened harder for what the source of the sound could be. |

Hiccup and Toothless had to take a break from all of the training that did for the dragons races. Hiccup said with a grin as Toothless went by the river, "Alright, bud...you go and chow down while I take a small nap..." Hiccup yawned and closed his eyes as Toothless dove his head to eat the fish that lived here. Luckily for him he had retractable teeth and managed to get the fish. Toothless then smelled a scent and growled where a fox was looking at him. To Toothless, he thought he was going to steal the fish before he ate any.

Puck watched in silent shock as a black dragon landed a few meters away from him and a boy dressed in dragon-riding gear got off and lay down on the riverbank to sleep. Curious, Puck picked up his own fish in his mouth and walked towards the dragon who was now fishing at the river's edge.
He couldn't help dropping his fish and darting back a bit in shock when the dragon growled at him. That was a bit unexpected. However, he was a fox at the moment and foxes were considered thieves and tricksters in their own right. "Relax bud!" Puck said. "I'm not going to steal your fish. I have my own, you know." He said, chuckling.

Toothless growled and brought his fish away from this fox and he was still mad at that species due to being outsmarted by one. Hiccup woke up from the frantic and Hiccup said with a wry smile, "Sorry about that but you would be sore too if you got outsmarted by a fox." Toothless just horde his fish to the side and guard it. Hiccup said as he walked up to Pluck, "Yeah he's still not forgiven foxes after that."

If Puck had been in human form, he would have raised an eyebrow. As it was, he still managed to make his animal face look incredulous. "How does a dragon like him get outsmarted by little fox, possibly like me?" He said cocking his head at the dragon. "I mean, sure, we are considered cunning, intelligent and yes, mischievous creatures," Puck said as his bushy, red tail flicked and he sat up, trying to make himself seem taller, "But honestly, he's a dragon!" Puck finished, chuckling and shaking his head.
The wily fox, looked back at the other boy and stretched. "This is probably a silly question, seeing as I've probably heard your names through the various grapevines, but I'm old-fashioned in that I still prefer proper introductions. Care to give me your names, dragon and Dragon boy?" Puck said as he lay down on the soft riverbank.

Hiccup explained with a grin, "Toothless is a Nightfury and is intelligent equal to a Fox's intelligence." Toothless grumbled with a pout as he continued eat his fish as Hiccup chuckled as he said with a grin, "The name's Hiccup and my best bud over there is Toothless." Toothless turned his head away from Puck as he grumbled.

Puck nodded as Hiccup introduced himself and Toothless. "A pleasure to meet you both." Puck said as he winked at Toothless. "The name's Robbie Goodfel, but call me Puck." he said, grinning. He cocked his head at Toothless as the Nightfury turned away from him in order to eat his meal in peace. Still grinning, Puck picked up his own fish in his mouth. 'I might end up regretting this.' Puck thought as he tossed the fish at Toothless which hit the dragon on the head. Quickly, Puck redirected his attention at Hiccup and tried to look as innocent as possible, in case Toothless looked back for the obvious perpetrator. "So what exactly is the story of your buddy and his foxy encounter." Puck asked.

Hiccup chuckled and said with a grin, "He and the fox were fighting over fish in Neverland. Toothless tried to catch up to him but he got caught on a hole in a fallen dead tree." Hiccup then saw Toothless ignoring the fox considering he wasn't worth his time as he continued then frowned, "He never forgave foxes...or Whispering Deaths." Hiccup knew that Toothless's race was wiped out by that race of dragons including the Screaming Death dragon which nearly wiped out Toothless's family.

Puck cocked his head, he was very curious about what Hiccup meant by the bit about Whispering Deaths. He didn't know much about dragon history or dragons in general, beyond the fact that Whispering Death was another kind of dragon. He could understand the bit about foxes as no one liked being made a fool of, even if it was a lot of fun and lot easier than most people thought. But a dragon disliking another dragon? What was that about? Stretching casually, Puck yawned and asked, "Racial issues? Or tragic circumstances?"
