(Title Translation: Sea Star)
Yosuke had been working hard trying to do his job as a waiter that day. He had been waiting tables all that Saturday afternoon. He loved his job and he loved making people happy. He went from table to table making orders and bringing them to the kitchen. He wanted to make his father proud.

"And when the prince placed the slipper on Cinderella's foot, it was a perfect fit. After that they were married and lived happliy ever after..." Just because it was the weekend, Pearl didn't think it was any excuse to slack off, she had a job to do. Besides, it was facinating to read old historical texts. She felt a grumble in her stomach, "Hm, it might be a good idea to get some food while I study some more." Pearl looked around and noticed a cafe across the street so she went over and inside.

Yosuke continued working, trying to gather orders from the customers. A lady with a blue hat was ordering a parfait. It sounded yummy. He was happy doing his work. He noticed that a lady with peach hair walked into the restaurant. He walked up and smiled. "Excusez-moi ma dame. Can I help you?" he said in a polite manner.
(Translation: Excuse me my lady.)

Pearl was right behind a lady with white hair, which gave her enough time to tuck her book into her bag. She was done with it anyways, Pearl had already read it several times to make sure that she didn't miss anything. It was starting to look like she'd never figure out who Steven's parents where, the royal families seemed to keep a detailed record of what happened before and after their ever afters. Another rumble in her stomach reminded her why she was there and Pearl wondered over to one of the tables, pulling out another book while she waited.

Yosuke took a menu and seated the white haired lady down at the table. Then returned to the young maiden with the peach hair. "Pardon mon dame, may I take you to your seat?" he said with a smile. When he looked at her she looked like a marbel statue, beautiful and full of grace.

Pearl was lost deep in the pages of her book, she knew this tale all too well. 'One night, a old beggar woman came to the castle and offer a single rose in exchange for shelter from the harsh winter night.' She read to herself. Pearl realized that someone had come over to her and she looked up. A boy with sandy hair stood near and asked if he could take her to her seat. She raised her brow, "But I'm already sitting down..." That's when she noticed that she had sat down at a table with a elderly man sitting across from her. "Oh!", Pearl got up quickly, "I'm so sorry!"
The elderly man smiled a barely toothed grin at her, "It's okay, I don't mind."
Pearl sheepishly smiled back at the old man with blush covering her cheeks, how embarrassed she felt. She cleared her throat and turned to the sandy haired boy, "I would be happy if you showed me to my seat."

Lumiere looked at the fair maiden reading the book and gave a bow to her. "The honor is mine, my dame." he said. He lead her to one of the tables with the prettiest views. "How does this table look to my fair dame?" he said with a smile. He saw that the lady liked to read and so this table fit right.

Pearl gave another smile at Lumiere, "Yes, this will work out just fine, Merci." She sat down at the table that had been picked out and looked down at the menu, "Hmmm, I'm not quite sure yet what to order...is it alright if I spend a few moments looking over the menu?" Pearl asked. "Unless...you wouldn't happen to have any butterscotch pie would you?" It was her favorite thing in the whole world, well besides reading a good book that is.

Yosuke smiled impressed that the girl knew french. He smiled. “Coming right up and want anything to drink my fair dame?” he said. The girl was rather beautiful as the sea.

Pearl thought for a moment, "Just a glass of water, I think." She realized that the boy from the door was the one who had asked her, he must work at the restaurant. He seemed charming. While she waited, Pearl pulled back out her book and started to read again, 'The prince seared at the gift and turned the old woman away, but she warned him not to be fooled by appearances, because beauty is found within.' Why did this story sound so familiar to her? 'And when he dismissed her again, the old woman's ugliness melted away to reveal...a beautiful enchantress.' Her mother, Pearl's real mother. She looked over to the illustration in the book, she saw a slender blonde hair lady in a green dress towering over a frighten looking prince, it was the first time that Pearl had seen any sort of picture of her mother. A sole tear rolled down her face, why didn't Blue tell her sooner?

Yosuke took the order bowed at the fair maiden and went off to the kitchen to place the order in. He brought back a glass of water. "Here you go, my fair dame. Excuse my rudeness, but have I perhaps seen you somewhere before. Not that we ever met." Yosuke got a bit nervous, he wasn't as smooth as his father was at talking to the fair maidens. "Oh mec. ((Oh boy))" he muttered under his breath, getting a bit nervous. He had met other girls for sure, but there was something about this one. "Pardon, do you attend Auradon Prep, by chance?"

"Oh, um," Pearl quickly closed the book, brushing the tear off her cheek as she looked at the boy, "Yes, I go to Auradon Prep. Though I don't think I've ever seen you around. Then again, I don't really get out much." Truth be told, she had only been spending her time going to classes, helping Steven out with his homework and reading the history books that she had gotten. Pearl hadn't had much time to meet anyone and the people she knew were Steven and Elionwy.

Yosuke smiled. "It's cool that we attend the same school. I see, well maybe sometimes, we can meet up when I'm not working. Get to know one another." Yosuke then realized his manerisms. "Uh... I mean. It's cool that we attend. May I ask what is the name of the joyau de la mer please? I mean jewel of the sea." remembering a few days ago how a girl with brown hair confused when he said dame, it meant lady and was trying to be polite, but this girl. He had a feeling that he wouldn't mind his tounge.

Pearl blushed, "Yeah, maybe." Was he flirting with her? She hadn't had anyone do that to her before, "I tend to hang out in the library when I'm not in class. We could meet up there sometime...if you'd like to? Would you?" she blushed even deeper, she had no idea if she was doing this right or not! Pearl had never ever talked to a boy like this, mostly she just would pop into someone's house grant a wish and be gone. "Oh, my name? It's Pearl."

Yosuke smiled. So she did have a name of a sea gem. She was aas pretty as one. The library. Yosuke did go there a few times to study, when he wasn't needed at the cafe. "Pearl, beau name." he said. "Sure, I think I can meet you up there sometimes."
