Backstory: Rarity was raised by her mother with the thought that she had to be better than everyone else, that she should only associate with other VK's of noble birth, image was everything and most importantly was Rarity's own. It was never right for her mother, who was highly critical of her and pointed out her flaws every chance that she got. Rarity ended up meeting one day Lapis, Ursula's daughter, and the two of them became friends due to both having such terrible mothers. Rarity became like a older sister to Lapis and even went out of her way to be nice to throw her a surprise birthday partybut was caught by her mother. After that, Rarity was sent with the other VK's to Auradon to steal Merlin's spell book but ended up rebelling because she found that she enjoyed making fashion for others and making them look like 'the fairest one of all'.

Personality: Rarity is a perfectionist, she expects nothing but the best from herself and others and can be a bit harsh on herself when she finds even the tinest of flaws. She has a big generous heart, loving to help people out when they are in need of help. Rarity enjoys the finer things in life but at the same time her creative spirit allows to find rainbows on cloudy days. She loves her friend, Lapis, and would do anything for her. Her main goal in life is to put Marceline into one of her dresses.
