Background: Shinji, the eldest brother of Rarity was born not caring about the “fairest of the all,” ideals that his mother had for her children. His mother in such gave up on the eldest and focused on his baby sister. As Shinji grew up, it became clear that Shinji had magic within his veins, many believed that he learned it from his mother, but seeing as that the Evil Queen had no real magic, the odds are fell on the fact that he must have learned it from his father. It was only then that the evil queen showed a bit of interest in her son. Only a little. The ability to control black magic was something that could make her family regain the title of Beauty if they wanted it. Because of this power, many people hero and villain alike feared him. One night, while practicing to control the magic, something happened that caused Shinji to never use his powers again. A horrible accident that wasn’t his fault, despite this Shinji blamed himself for it. Hiding away the secret from even his sister. Shinji shut down his powers, keeping them sealed, while he could still use them, the boy vowed never to use them again. Afraid that one day he may hurt someone close to him including someone he cared about deeply. His mother was enraged that Shinji refused to help gain the family name back. Shinji held the belief that a kingdom should not be ruled by fear by fairness and kindness. A kingdom deserved a ruler with these traits, someone much like Sonia White or his sister. This only enraged his mother more. When the time came to leave the Isle of the Lost for Audron, Shinji went along if only to keep an eye on his little sister.

Hobbies: Shinji is actually a skilled cook, and according to others, he is a very skilled musician, including that of the cello and violin.
Personality: Shinji is a very cold and broody indivisual. Or rather he comes off as such. He is a loner in every sense of the word. Many people avoid him due to his “magic” and the fact he may be a dark sorcerer. He does care for others, the eldest of the two doesn’t show it very often. His heart is in the right place and the pains of the past haunt him making him a bit hard to approach but if he can help he will try. It just takes a long time for him to even open up. He believes that no one will see the good in him, despite there being a few who are willing to help him heal from the past.
Pets (if the character has any): A shadow hound that follows Shinji around, it doesn’t have a name but Rarity has called it Stark.
Note: Shinji has a soft spot for children and animals.
