Descendant of: Flynn Rider and Rapunzel ~ Flynn was a shapeshifter due to him being cursed, so, when Hiro was a young kitten, he taught him on how to use his cat form whenever he was either in danger. He did learn pretty quickly since he was going to use it for self-defense. Flynn was also a prince back in Germany and he took Hiro as his own when he was an orphan. Flynn did also raise Hiro to be a prince by doing gentleman like deeds, such as opening the door for all people, ball-room dancing, and being there for young people like himself. Rapunzel did teach him on how to cook good meals and whenever Flynn was not around, she would teach Hiro on how to be nice to young women such as complimenting on their outfits.

Background: Back in a part of Germia, Hiro was in an orphanage since his father abandoned him since he could not stop crying as a tiny kitten. His old father knew that he was a cat, but, he wanted him to be a human instead of being a shapeshifter. After being alone in the orphanage, Flynn visited the orphanage, and saw that a young kitten was in there. Flynn, being in the same situation as the young one, took him in and raised him in a castle. Flynn being a shapeshifter himself, as he did not understand why the father would abandon him as a child all because he was not an ordinary human. As soon as he told his wife, Rapunzel about the new son entering the family, she did give out a small smile, since she and Flynn never had any children before. After Flynn mentions that has the power of shifting, she grins. Although she was not a shapeshifter herself, she does imagine that Hiro and his father would get along really quickly. While growing up, Flynn taught him on how use his cat form such as meowing for attention, using his claws in case he got into a fight with a wild animal, running, walking, crawling, and using its senses such as tasting, seeing, smelling, touching, and hearing. Flynn, still being cautious about him being caught by a guard of some sort in the area, made him keep his other form a secret. Although Flynn knows that his son is applying for a school, he is still being cautious about his son being executed. One day, Hiro came out to his parents as being bi-sexual, and he does like some young women and men; Rapunzel was shocked to hear this, and had a hard time accepting her own adoptive son. Flynn does come into the conversation and tells his wife that there is nothing wrong with Hiro feeling desire for the opposite gender and the same gender, since he was bi-sexual himself. Rapunzel, on the other hand, forgot that her own husband she married was that way, and she gives in to Hiro’s sexuality.
How they got into Auradon Prep (if the character is a student): Flynn did register his son, Hiro into the academy since it could be good for him to make some friends. Hiro, feeling confident about going into the school, did apply for the place. He was one of those supernatural creatures who just wanted to explore what the human world. He did not care if anyone else in the school was a supernatural creature or a ordinary human. He did want to learn on what the real world was like since he did not have time to go out.
Job (if the character has one): Although his father was rich, Flynn thought that working outside of class could have an o dspportunity to brush up on his social skills. He does work as a paperboy by delivering papers early in the morning. Luckily, this job won’t interfere with his homework since its early in the morning.

Hiro, is a really sweet and charming guy to get to know. He is a younger version of his father who is kind, charming, and very flirty. He could be naive at times, especially when it comes to meeting new people and discussing relationships. Flynn married so, he was flirty towards other women and men so, he does know something about love and romance. He did teach the “birds and bees” to him. He does keep his “secret” quite since he is nervous about how his classmates would react to him being a cat.
Creature form:
In his creature form, he is very feisty, and can be easily angered if someone either steps onto his tail or if anyone calls him a “freak.” He knows on how to use his claws pretty well when in a fight. Once his cat form gets to know anyone, he can be very cuddly and yearning to get to know a new student by either meowing for attention or just following the person or a creature around the area.
Pets (if the character has any): He does have a cat named Mochi, who is very affectionate. He found him back in a pet shelter as a kitten. Flynn approved of his decision of taking care of a poor animal in need so, Hiro raises him on his own.
