Sonia hadn't been to many of the shops in town besides the candy store, and while she had gone out on the town to hang out with other students. She wanted to check out the Storybook Boutique. From what she heard from the gossips of the many girls in classes, they had some pretty expressive clothes and items. Seeing as that the princess was in need of a new change of wardrobe, she looked forward to going.
Opening the door to the Boutique, Sonia's eyes brightened at the sight of all the clothes. "Oh, look at how beautiful." she ran straight for one of the racks showing beautiful colors and fabrics.

Rarity was at the back of the shop, working on her latest creations. She had spent hours sketching a whole new line inspired by classic Auradonian stories, it was something that she felt like it would be a good idea. Auradon was rich with history and every story that helped shape it was important, both hero and villain.
She was putting on the finishing touches on one the dresses when she heard the boutique's bell chime, "Just a minute." She called out. Being the only one in the shop at the moment meant that her time had to be split between her work and helping customers. Not that she minded, Rarity enjoyed spending time with the customers and finding that dress that was just right for them.
Rarity came into the main show room, "Hello, and welcome to Storybook Boutique. May I help you?"

Sonia turned her head towards the voice and her eyes lit up. She hadn't seen Rarity in quite awhile. It was mainly because of her mother. It was almost as if her mother saw the evil queen's daughter and son as enemies and that would kill Sonia in an instant. Sonia herself didn't understand it.
Her blue eyes looked around for the familiar brother of Rarity, though knowing Shinji he was hiding in the shadows. "I was actually looking for some new clothes." she said, her smile as big as ever. "I figured this place was as good as the gossip says, I would find something."

Once she finally realize who it was a very warm smile spread on her lips, "Sonia, so nice to see you." Rarity liked Sonia, they hardly knew each other but she was such a sweet girl. Unlike her mother, Rarity didn't harbor any ill will towards the girl. "You've come to the right place. We have just what you need to become 'the fairest in the land'...it's our store's motto." She added, realizing how ironic her words might sound.

Sonia cracked a small smile at the motto. "It's good to see you too Rarity. I am not surprised to see you working here." She knew that Rarity was just the right girl for the job. Even as a kid, Rarity always dressed like the best of the best. Her eyes searched the store again.
"You always know what looks good on people so I guess I can leave it to you." Unlike Rarity, Sonia didn't have a fashion sense. She wished she did. The only thing she had picked out was her favorite ribbon on her head.
