A Little Bit of Sunshine (Tag Sakura)

Zephyr was sitting on the steps of the school entrance, enjoying in the sun. It had been teasing him the whole time that he had been in class. So, as soon as the bell had rang, Zephyr had raced outside with his lunch and set up a lovely little picnic for himself on the warm, stone steps. It was perfect and it reminded him of the picnics he had with his mother, Persephone and Mr. Todd. Or the times when he had gathered a lunch of berries and wild greens with Crevan's help and guidance. 

For a moment, Zephyr felt very lonely and sad. He realized then that he really missed his mother and Crevan, even Mr. Todd. Sniffling, Zephyr loudly blew his nose with a handkerchief and shook his head. He wasn't going to let his memories get in the way of enjoying his picnic in the sun. However, he did wish that he had someone to enjoy it with.

[Sakura was sitting on top of a tree, eating a piece of raw meat from a deer. She grins and enjoys the food, her wolf ears pop out and her tail wags.] Mm, yummy~.

Almost immediately after wishing for someone to eat his lunch with, Zephyr heard a voice speak. He quickly stood up and looked around for the source of the voice. "Hello? Is someone there?" He asked, looking around excitedly. Maybe he would meet another child today. Maybe today was the day he would make a new friend. As Zephyr looked, his eyes alighted on a tree where a girl was sitting high up in the branches. She looked friendly and normal enough, other than the fact that she had what looked like wolf ears and a tail. But those features just made Zephyr happier as it reminded him of some of his animal friends. Excited to meet this mysterious girl, Zephyr waved to her. "Hi! I'm Zephyr! Would you like to join me for lunch?"
