Background: Marceline was raised by her mother to carry on her wicked legacy and where Marcy seemed to like it, it never really sat well with her. She always wonder what was beyond the Isle of the Lost and one day she got a chance to see it. Marcy was able to sneak past the barrier and explore Auradon when she was a kid, she even met another fairy kid named Pearl who she befriended but was caught by the Blue Fairy and was sent back to the Isle of the Lost…back to her mother’s clutches.
Last year, Merlin sent a letter to Maleficent requesting that Marceline should go to Auradon Prep. Maleficent thought it was a good idea, and gave Marceline a chance to prove herself to her mother by stealing Merlin’s spell book to bring magic back to the Isle of the Lost.
Once she got to Auradon, Marceline was filled with the feeling of magic for the first time in her life and it scared her. While trying to understand it, she ended up learning that she could use it to control people which she used to gain information so she could steal the spell book…but at the same time she started to question if it was the right thing to do. When she didn’t use magic to control people, they liked her for her musical talent. In the end, she chose to rebel against her mother and write her own story.
The question is now; will she be allowed to redeem herself? And will she stay long enough for it to happen?
How they got into Auradon Prep: A letter by Merlin
Personality: Marceline is a wild child, even though she’s given up the evil ways of her mother, she still loves exotic things and travels across the land of Auradon often. She’s also a mischievous trickster but is only really mean to anyone who gets on her shit list and is more playful around her friends. She has a hard time expressing herself unless it’s though her music. Marceline also holds onto an old teddy bear that was given to her by Pearl because she secretly hopes to rekindle their friendship one day.
Job: Works at the Fe De L'amor, but secretly wants to perform there like Hiccup
Pets (if the character has any): A pet bat named Stella
