After leaving his sister at her room he got to his which was still empty. He sighed loudly as he looked around. It was too bright. He threw his stuff on the floor and closed the curtains making the place look a little bit darker but still too bright for his state. He was used to darkness. After fixing that he started taking out his things out of his bag: first his precious books. He put them on his bed and then passed the few clothing he had on the closet nearest the bed he had selected. After that he took out the map Yzma had given to him before leaving home. He was going to need it later. Suddenly he felt a presence behind him and spotted a shadow getting closer to the entrance of the room.

Toothless smelled someone new as he ran towards the new scent as Hiccup yelled, "Toothless! Stop going off your own, bud!" Toothless then saw the boy and pounced on him as he growled happily and Hiccup finally caught up to his friend and said with concern, "Sorry about that Toothless can get excited when he meets new people. Name's Hiccup and my best friend Toothless, who's on you like his new plaything." Toothless got off and went towards Hiccup as he looked at the boy as he tilt his head to the side.

Dipper sat up and stared at the dragon open mouthed. A dragon; there was a dragon inside his room! If Mabel knew she would definetly flip. "Hiccup and Toothless" he repeated as he tried to remember from where he knew the name. The boy wasn´t familiar but he was sure Yzma had talked to him about someone called Hiccup, just that he couldn´t remember... "Sorry, lost in my own thoughts." he said as he went back to reality and took a step closer to shake hands. "I´m Dipper, freshman and son of Kronk. Are you my roomate?"

Hiccup said with a grin, "You bet. Name's Hiccup and son of Captain Hook. My bud here is name Toothless, he's a bit mischievous." Toothless growled happily as he nuzzled against Dipper as Hiccup said with a smile, "Looks like he's taken a shine to ya. Toothless rarely does that but he mostly does it with girls."

Dipper raised an eyebrown. "Should I feel offended by that?" He asked not sure if it was something good or bad. Mabel was the social one, the one that knew how to talk to people and not scared them off. "Never mind. So you are Hook's son? Interesting, I never saw you around the Island." He commented as he walked closer to the dragon. It was huge but it was obvious the creature was more like a cat or a dog rather than a beast.

Hiccup laughed and said with a grin, "No. I'm just glad I get to be booked with a Freshman and It's my last year here at Auradon. After that I'm on my own." Toothless took his spot at the end of Hiccup's bed that had a lava rock bed to warm himself with his fire. Hiccup said with a grin, "Although friendly warning. Don't take Toothless's fishing bag, he can get real testy other than that you're good." Hiccup got his map out of Auradon and post it on his wall for dragon sightings and said with a grin, "Time to train.."

Dipper stared at the map noticing the few differences between his and Hiccup´s map. "And in what do you train? Are you in some kind of sports team?" he asked as he looked walked closer to the map. He passed next to Toothless and had extra care on not bother him. The boy had actually avoided the question about his father but Dipper decided to let it go. Not everyone liked to talk about their parents. Surely he didn´t enjoyed saying he was the son of the worst villain sidekick in the history of the Island.

Hiccup said with a grin, "Dragons of course. I am Captain of Dragon Racing Team and I know who you are." Hiccup then said as he held out his hand, "You're Kronk's son right? He actually helped me on training Tracker dragons and boy do they love his cooking." Hiccup laughed at the memory that Kronk helped him with the tracker dragons and they sure did love his cooking. Hiccup said with a smile as Toothless nuzzled up to Dipper, "He was a big help. When you see him again let him know."

His dad helped him? He glared at the boy while he processed the information. Villains didn´t help each other unless it was part of an evil plan. "Right. Yeah, I guess he is okay." he took a step back and returned to his bed and opened the first book he was able to find. He didn´t feel like talking to the man anymore. It was obvious he was a good guy (probably too good) and couldn´t help to feel selfconcious about it.

Hiccup said as he unpacked his things, "You're dad's not a bad guy, you know. If it wasn't for him I'd be starving now. He's a strict teacher when it comes to it." Hiccup then remembered and handed Dipper a scroll as he said with a smile, "When you see your dad give him this. Its the recipe of Spinach Puffs he lend me to make for that diet I went on."

Dipper stared at the scroll before taking it, not sure if in it there was a recipe or something else. "I know he isn´t bad." he glared at the paper but still he put it inside his bagpack. "But..." he was aware he was walking on a thin line. "I guess I am a worried about who I am and how that will affect out life here. Being a son of a villian in a place full of heroes, was it was hard as I am imagining?" He wasn´t being completely truthfull about his thoughts but wasn´t lying completely. He just knew pity was a good cover up in case he ever messed up inside the school.

Hiccup said as he sat down on his bed, "To tell you truth. I was like you once and I used to be afraid of clocks. Anything that ticked or tocked I hid under my desk. The kids thought I was weird but then I met Toothless, he stood up for me when no one would, and that's saying something." Toothless licked Dipper's cheek and said with a grin, "Now you got two friends here if ya wanna talk about your problems." Toothless then grabbed a bark and tried to make a picture of Dipper on the wall as Hiccup said with a grin, "I think he's trying to draw you."

Dipper couldn´t help to smile at the funny sight of Toothless making weird lines on the wall. Hiccup, on the other hand looked amused by the trick. It looked he was witness of a personal joke or experience. "Thanks. I think I will have to introduce my sister to you soon. She is a dragon´s fangirl." he hugged his knees and stared at the dragon that seemed happy with his creation. "Does he does that a lot?"

Hiccup said with a grin, "Toothless is a Nightfury. The most intelligent and fastest of all dragons, he's even old as I am if you can tell." Toothless dropped the bark and looked at Dipper with a gummy smile as Hiccup said with a grin, "He even gets creative now and then. Plus, I capture it all on my Mirror Phone."

Dipper finally jumped off his bed and carefully he scratched the dragon's head. Maybe sharing with a breathing fire apcreature wasn't going to be bad after all. "I guess I will be learning a lot about these creatures with you too." And suddenly he felt too vulnerable, too good. "And I think I need some air." He jumped way and ran to get his bag. "I am telling Mabke about Toothless so you may be able to meet her really soon." He put inside of it his chemistry book and then put it over his back. "I will be back., "he stopped at the doorframe and arranged his hat "...soon."
