Mami wasn't sure what she was doing here, but rather than going back home to see her parents and play games with Nanako, she wanted to spend time in the square. She wasn't ready to go back to the gossips of the court or the many studies of becoming queen, eventually her coronation would come, and her parents were talking about it but it didn't help her one bit. The only place she felt better was in the cafe she worked, and she was off that day.
The gossip didn't stop though even when outside the palace. She could see the looks and often hear the murmurs of passerbys. She was a princess but all anyone saw was the commoner part of her mother's blood. It wasn't fair.
The door in front of her only showed tarrot cards. Slowly, Mami opened the door and peeked inside. "Hello?" she called out nervously.

Luna was making tea and brought the tea cookies she had bought at Yu's shop. She saw a girl that she had seen in her visions and knew one day she would come into her shop. Luna said as she brought out the tea and cookies, "So you've have come to see your fate as well..." Luna put down the tray on her table and said with a soft smile, "I am Lady Luna. Keeper of the Night and Seeker of Fates. How may I help you?" Luna knew anyone who would come into her shop must want to know of their fate and what would be reveled.

Mami looked at the woman, the blue hair reminded her of the night sky. It was strange to even come to a fortune shop, then again after hearing the story of her mother with the fairy godmother, magic was nothing new to hear. "My name is Mami," she said giving a small curtsy as her mom had taught her to do.
"I didn't mean to interrupt or anything. I have never seen this shop before."

Luna explained as she sat down in her chair, "This is my fortune telling shop or rather a Fate Shop so to speak." Luna spread out her cards on the table and said seriously as she revealed her cards, "Fate can change due to the events here on Auradon and what the Hero or Villain Children make those choices." Luna pulled out the Wheel of Fortune card again and sighed as she said by showing her the card, "However the power of Fate can be frustrating...I ask the Fates to see what would become of Auradon...and it is the same card: The Wheel of Fortune."
She crossed her arms and said as she looked at the card, "What happened in the past...will now come a reality in the future. It is a mystery indeed."

"What does that mean?" Mami frowned, "I mean i don't want my fate to be decided for me. I just want people to accept me. Not because of my mother's blood in the past but rather who I am and my actions." Mami said, not realizing why she was speaking about this. It really hurt to know that people would not like her for who she was. They didn't know if she would be a good queen.
"I just want acceptance."

Luna said with a smile, "That was Auradon's fate. Not yours..." Luna shuffle her deck and pulled out a different card as she made a soft smile as she said, "The Star card...this card represents hopes and dreams. If you want to be accepted, then follow that dream and may be a reality one day." Luna knew that would come for her one day she just didn't know it yet.

"It was Audron's fate that people would judge me for having a mother that was a servant to my step-aunts?" Mami's voice was bitter. "I find that hard to believe." The star card? It sounded familiar almost like her mother's fairy godmother, she didn't have one though. If she did then it was taking too long to show up.

Luna said seriously with concern, "I know who you are Mami. I know of the path you walk on for I too have walk down that path myself." Luna knew what Mami's pain was and thought she would follow her father's footsteps but she refused and used her magic for good instead of evil as she explained, "I thought I had to follow my father's story but I decided that I would cast my own shadow and write my own story. I guess you can see fate changed for myself. Merlin once said to me, 'The beginning may not be what you wanted, but it is not who are. It is the rest of your story that what make you who are...'" Luna was in Merlin's debt and for when he would reappear she would thank him.

Mami's frown grew a bit deeper. Not much but a little bit. "I know that I shouldn't be expected to do it Miss Luna, that i have my own story to write. It's just that everyone expects so much more from me than I thought possible." That wasn't exactly true though, Mami expected more from herself, everyone else didn't even want her story to be written.

Luna gasped as the cards moved in a different order through a form of magic. Luna said in awe as the cards moved, "This has not happened since Merlin's disappearance..." The card then went into Luna's hand as it reveled the Fool card as she said in amazement, "The Fool card...it means that anything is possible." Now Luna new that three children here in Auradon were going to change this place for the better.

Not fully understanding what was going on, Mami blinked as Luna spoke again. "These cards...they tell you something about us right?" she asked, "What does the Fool card mean?" Her golden eyes glanced to one other card next to it. It read the Empresses on it. "What about that one?"

Luna explained with a smile, "Yes. I wanted to use my gifts for good and guide them may they heed it or ignore my advice. I merely tell what Fate is in store." Luna then showed the Fool card and said with a smile, "The Fool card means optimism and meaning anything is possible. Now for the Empress card means to use loving, caring ways to accomplish your goals without losing your power." Luna knew what that card meant hopefully she hoped Mami knew the meaning of this card as well.

The blonde nodded, not fully understanding. Why was there are a fortune teller here. Shouldn't kids be able to choose their own paths. She shook her head. "I don't think that's going to be possible. People may not listen to what I have to say when they are too busy looking at my background." She wished there was a way to make people look at her normally and not for her mom's past.
"Fate or not. I am going to go my own way but acceptance is harder for some of us than others."
