It was dark in the hallways, Andrew has his hand on the wall so he wouldn't trip on something. He reached for the keys on his pocket once he found the door of his assigned room, it was hard to find the light switch when the room is dark also. It reminded him of the room where he was experimented on for 12 years, it was scary.

He unpacked his things to his bed and reached for what it seems a first-aid kit on the table, the Fairy godmother has observed that he has many bleeding wounds when he hides himself in Auradon. He almost died when a ticking time bomb that is implanted within him went off, he lost a lot of blood in there. 

He strip off his clothes (He has no idea why he had to wear clothes anyway.) until the bandaged torso and his right arm are left, he carefully unwrap his bandage that exposes a strange arcane circle on his back that looks like a scar with coloured circles on each of the 5 circles that resembles of the Elements. It was painful, physically and emotionally. To be experimented isn't that fun at all when you were the lab rat with no one to be with, the people are so mean in the research institute.

The picture of his mother is what he kept for a long time, he misses his mother and he is scared. Fresh tears came flowing to his face, it is the only thing he could do. 

"Mama...Mama! Mama!" His cracking voice was loud enough to possibly hear it outside of the room. 

Especially he FORGOT TO CLOSE THE DOOR.

As Taran was walking around in the hallways, he was starting to get a bit tired from classes, and he thought that it was exhausting by just walking through these hallways to just find his room, and he was pretty glad that he was going to be rooming with a classmate instead of his sister for once. As he was walking into the room, he saw that it was a young boy with all of these bandages and thought it was sad to see him like this. He was not sure on what happened in his past, but it was just sad to seeing him like this. He waved to him with a small smile as he was putting his things away, including books, his wooden sword that he made, and clothing that he packed. As he was continuing to put his things away, he saw that the kid was starting to cry. "Hey, everything alright?" He asked and rubs the kid's back and smiles at him. "My name is Taran, what is yours?" He asked, in a soothing tone.

Andrew stepped away at Taran when the boy touched his back, it stings him like a bee injected venom on him. He tried to wipe away his tears as possible, for he fears that Taran might punish him for crying. As for asking his name, it felt like an interrogation for him. His speech has limits, so he had to get straight to the point.
He pointed his bandaged hand to himself and answer as he can "Me....Andrew."

He saw that the small boy stepped away from him and saw that he was flinching, and he had no idea as to why or how he did flinch. He was not sure what his backstory was before coming to the academy, but, did not want to ask any personal questions to make him feel worse. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know you are sensitive to touching.." He apologized to him as though he did feel bad for the small child, and he saw that he was paranoid about something, but, did not want to ask anything regarding his fears. So, he runs into a bag and gives him a tissue box for him to blow his nose, and once he heard his name being, "Andrew" he nods. "Ah, Andrew. A pleasure to meet you. You sound like a nice lad to get along with." He said, as he was grinning at the child and felt as though that they would get along, and just wanted to comfort the small one. "So, what do you like to do for fun? Me.. I like to play pirates." He then got out his wooden sword that he made when he was around ten and showed him the sword. "I can be the captain, and ye can be me first mate!" He said, as he was trying to get the kid to cheer up.

Andrew stared at Taran in confusion. He may be grateful that Taran gave him tissues to wipe of his tears, but he has no idea what he was saying in the next. In fact, he has NO IDEA what "Pirates" are. He never heard of them before in his entire life as a child, "Pie...rats?" he asked Taran. Though, he likes the wooden sword.
He picked up a roll of bandages and give it to Taran while trying to say something like 'I need help in wrapping my back' or 'Can you help me with the bandages?'
As for what he liked to do, he replied "Singing....and Magic!". Andrew ran to the window to open it, he is careful not to fall off. He pulled out his right hand that he unwrapped revealing different marks around his arm and closed his eyes to concentrate, even began singing like a incantation.
"Keris Petir!" Lightning flashed through the window when it struck the ground, possibly waking up the other dorm members. When the light faded, Andrew showed an object shaped like a lightning bolt but it is held like a sword.

He saw that his roommate was pretty satisfied with what he had to do in order to comfort the small boy. He saw that the tissues were helping him dry his tears away, which is a good sign. He then saw that he was a little clueless as to what pirates are, and it was time to show him some books of what pirates are. "Yes, pirates! To define, a pirate is a legendary human who goes out on adventure and he finds some treasure, sails the seven lovely seas, and finds so much land to claim!" He exclaimed, as he tried to make it simple for the kid to understand on what they are. He then got some books from his bag to show him some picture of the most famous pirates out there such as Long John Silver. "Most of the pirates that I read as a young lad are very adventurous and most people remember them as being heroes as well." He said, and quickly showed him some more, and he hoped that the kid will develop the same interests as he. He saw that he did admire the wooden sword that he made, and he lets him hold it. "Do not worry lad. I already removed some of the wooden chips." He said, and gave him a small grin. Taran then saw the kid bringing him some bandages of some sort and it looked like the kid needed help with them and he nods. "Why, of course." He said, and helped the kid with what he needed help with and he gently rubs his head in the process, as he was hoping that he was doing this right and correctly. He did like helping others in need, and he thought that helping the kid with a medical condition was going to be a good start. He did see that he did like to do a lot of, "singing and magic" and his hands clasped together, as he was interested to see what this kid could do regarding his magic. He then saw him going to a window and he walks along towards him. As he saw his magic coming to life, his eyes started to widen as though it was very beautiful. "Golly, that is quite amazing, Andrew!" He exclaimed, as he never saw someone doing something like this before. He wished that his sister could see this right about now since it was really beautiful indeed; he then saw a lightening sword coming out and he could imagine the two having fun sword fights. "Amazing.." He said, with a small gaze, and his eyes were continuing to see this magical sight.

Adventure? Treasure? Seas? Woah! There are lots to know about "Pirates", he is getting more curious what a "Sea" is. As he looked at the wooden sword, it felt rough to his hand. He looked at the most tip of the sword, but it ended up poking his own eye. Take note for him not to do that silly mistake again, it hurts!
"Taran thank you." when his room mate helped him wrapped the bandages around his torso and back.

He gave Taran a chance to hold his Lightning Sword just as he did when he let Andrew hold his wooden sword, with precaution not to shock him with the electric blades. He was a little confused why Taran is smiling when he did his magic, not sure if it is a good thing or not.
But he is not finished with his magic yet.

He closed his eyes as he concentrated in summoning more than lightning, first a strong wind came to the window and it created a ball around Andrew. Followed by a little shake from the ground, though pebbles were the ones entered instead. Fire and water generated from his hands along with the other two elements circling around him, it's like creating an Elemental bubble or something. His arcane circle from his back starts to glow as he danced around for a little just to maintain focus, his mouth is moving like he was singing without any sounds. He finished with spreading out the magic all over the room like falling glitters as the light of his arcane circle on his back fades, rendering the magic is done.

He looked at Taran for a question, "Parent?" he asked if Taran has a family or not.

He can tell by just the expressions on his face that there was a lot needed to know about pirates, and he can tell that he was more and more curious about the word, "Sea". That word could be explained easily, and Taran did like the boy's curiosity of what it would be like to on the seven seas. "Well, my friend, the sea is another word for ocean, or traveling water. That way, pirates can sail on there and go from place to place, such as another island." He explained, with a grin, thinking that this guy can be somewhat interested in learning facts about the pirate's life, which made him feel glad. He did not get to meet other classmates yet, accept for one, and he is glad that he did meet someone that was interested in his interests. As he saw that the kid was looking at the sword, he noticed that the tip accidentally hit his eye, and Taran quickly gives him some medicine for his eye by just giving some ointment. "Hey, you alright? Better be careful with the tip. Just don't look at it too close." He said, and pats his back gently. As he was holding onto Andrew's lighting sword, it made his sword look like something he could have bought from the ninety-nine cents store, but, at least the wooden sword was made with his own hands, and of course, he did admire on what Andrew had to offer. He was still fascinated by the way the lightning sword was like, and it was very interesting to see something this.. unique. He did smile because he was interested in his magic and although Taran was a supernatural creature, he never saw something this magical throughout his whole life. Just as he saw that Andrew was demonstrating some powers, his eyes were widening and it was not only just amazing, but, also really awesome, and he all those powers that he was seeing was unique. He could not even wait to tell his sister that he has a roommate that could do magic like this; it was really powerful. "Whoa, Andrew, that was.. astonishing and amazing." He said, with gleaming eyes, and felt as though he wanted to see more. If there was a magic talent show in the school, he could imagine Andrew winning for sure. He then heard the kid asking him if he had parents and he nods. "Yes, I do have a mother and father. My father is actually a shape-shifter. I also have an older sister named Eilonwy, and she is one too. One day, I will introduce you to her." He answered and showed the small boy a great, family picture.

"Another island? Not Auradon?" he asked Taran. He didn't know that there are other places than Auradon, it makes him want to explore outside of the school when he gets older.
It was a first time that someone was amazed by his magic, most of the time in the research institute is always faces of disappointment even though he did his best. Most people in the lab stated that his magic is "powerful enough to be an Angel he is"
"Be careful! Blade shocks you dead!" he warned Taran. The lightning sword can be a little dangerous, because it is LIGHTNING and it has the shock of 1000 volts.
He was surprised that Taran is a shape-shifter, the only reason he was a little scared because of his hopes that Taran is a good shape-shifter and not one of those mutated ones back in the lab because they look scary enough to get killed by one.
By the time he saw Taran's family picture, he couldn't help having a 'weird feeling' on his chest. What is this feeling? He doesn't know and it scares him. He was glad that Taran will introduce his sister named Eilonwy to him, but he is nervous too.
He returned to his bed in search for an object from his clothes, and was glad it wasn't gone. He returned to show Taran a very old and ripped picture of his mother, the picture has some smudges of his dried blood when he was severely bleeding from the bomb explosion inside his body.
"My mama! Abigail Callaghan, my mama!" he said to Taran with a smile only to make it sense that Abigail is his mother.
His smile faltered suddenly, "But mama is dead now...long ago...Never seen her even once."

As he saw that the young kid was getting more interested to hearing about other islands, he grew excited to talk about them. "Well, yes, such as the Caribbean and the Bahamas." He explained with a small smile; he hoped that one day, he could go there and just explore for fun, and of course take him alongside. He was amazed to be living with someone who had had magic powers, and was wandering to tell his sister, Taran about this, and as he heard his warning about the lightening bolt being powerful, he did not want to risk himself being killed. So, he quickly gives it back to him. "As for my shape-shifting form, I am a cat." He said, with a small smile and showed him a quick picture of him being his supernatural form. He did see him being nervous about him meeting Eilonwy, and he smiled at him. "Don't worry, Eilonwy is a sweet older sister to rely on. She always looks after me most of the time." He explained, with a smile. Even though she could be overprotective at times, he still loves her. He was shocked at the sight of the picture of an old picture of his mother, and he could not help but feel sorry about his mother passing away. "I am sorry about this, Andrew." He said, and gave him a sympathetic look. He hated to hear stories like this, and he did feel bad for a kid this young going through a tragic time.

"Wow...Curry bean and Ba ham bass...Want to see them." He is fascinated that there really are other places other than Auradon, and he wanted to see it for real. When Taran returned his lightning sword, Andrew disabled the magic by pushing his left hand to his right hand on the sword that it disappeared.
When he saw Taran's cat form, he can't help but to feel sorry based on what it looked like. He remembered something from being experimented is that he have to kill an animal especially a cat, he tried to say no since he doesn't understand why he had to kill the cat when they didn't do anything bad to him but the scientists kept on insisting to kill it...which they have no choice but to summon the dogs to kill the cat instead. He had to watch them tearing the cat's limbs apart and he is even restrained with a straight jacket, he can't save the cat!
He was glad that Taran told him about his sister, it looks like that Taran is very lucky to have someone to be with. "You really lucky, alone is not fun at all." he told Taran with a cheerful smile..without any notice that he was saying a bad thing.
Now Andrew is confused why Taran had to say sorry just because of what happened to his mother being dead, he didn't killed her unless he admitted. Abigail is dead, end of story.
"Sorry? Why sorry?" he asked Taran with complete confusion.
