Meme looked at her pinkie with string tied on it, meant to remind her of something, but ironically, she couldn't remember what. Grabbing her books and shutting her locker, she tried to remember. It was then, when she bumped into someone, that she remembered. Watch where you are going, is what she was supposed to remember.

The young boy, Taran was walking in the hallways and saw a girl looking at her hand with a piece of string on it apparently, as he had no idea on what it was. He did look up at her as he saw her grabbing books, perhaps for class. He then felt her bumping into him and he picks up her books and gives them to her. "There you are.." He said, with a small grin appearing on his face and bowed his head towards the young female. "Good day to you, lass." He greeted.

She smiled when he handed her the books she dropped "Thank you." She chuckled and held up her pinkie "I was supposed to remember to watch where I'm going."

He saw that she did look friendly enough to get along with as he smiled back and handed back the books, with a small smile. "Ah, no problem lass. What's your name? I am Taran!" He introduced himself in a pirate accent, and was not sure if this young woman was going to react to his pirate accent, because ever since he was young, he was interested in being a pirate unlike her sister who was more into History figures. He then heard her mention that she was trying to be careful, and he chuckled slightly. "Ah, accidents happen. Completely understandable." He said, with a small grin. He did notice that there was a piece of string onto her pinkie, which somewhat fascinated him. "Oh, what is with the string on your finger?" He asked, with a bit of curiosity. He thought that was fascinating, so, Taran took out his wooden sword and showed her what he created. "This is what I made when I was young.. my dream is.. to become the greatest pirate, y'argh!" He said, in a cheerful accent, but, did not want to bore her with chatting to her about pirates since they are in a school after all.

"The string was meant to be a reminder." She smiled, but lightly frowned when he said 'pirate' "My family doesn't like pirates very much."

As he heard her mentioning that the string was used to being a reminder, he nods. Intriguing and fascinating indeed. "A string as a reminder, very interesting.." He commented as he gazes at it. He then saw her frowning about pirates, and he nods. "Oh, I'm quite sorry..about that...if you don't want to talk about it, it's ok." He said, and smiled at her lightly. Of course, he could talk about other things.

He saw that the string was there to remind her of something, and he raised an eyebrow. This conversation will get interesting, about her having a string that will remind her of duties. "Ah, I see then.." He said, and still wondered on how a piece of string would remind her. It was a little questionable, but at the same time, interesting. He then heard that her father had a bad time with pirates, and he nods with a small sigh. "Sorry to hear that..how is he doing?" He asked, and still felt bad about bringing up topics about pirates to her.

As Taran heard that he was not hurt at all, it was a good sign that he was not harmed at all. Normally, from what Taran read, most pirates are adventurous and not meant to hurt any other explorers at all. He was not sure what kind of pirates her father ran into at all, but, it did sound as though her father was running into more of the dangerous ones instead of of the other type of pirates who are going on adventures. "Glad that he is doing fine in the long run." He said, with a small sigh in his voice. At least he did not get seriously injured. He wondered what kind of pirates he ran into while on his journeys. However, he did not want to ask too many questions at all since he did not want to bring up something traumatizing to her. So, he thought of right away, changing the topic into something more fun, like what kind of actives she likes to do, but, then he realized that he forgot to introduce herself. "I'm Taran. Pleased to meet you." He said, and reaches out her hand to shake hers with a small smile on his face. He did blush by how cute her face was but, did not want to cause an embarrassing moment in a public area.
