The red haired young woman was sitting on a bench, and she was looking at the moving clouds in the sky. As she was staring at the sky, she felt like she needed to do some Yoga to get some clear thoughts out of her mind. She knew that doing Yoga was not only relaxing, but, also one those activities where she needed to just rewind, as her thoughts were telling her cousins something regarding her sexual orientation. She was worried on what her cousins were going to think of this, as she was a little nervous that they were going to react like her father did, which was in a shocking, taken back way. Closing her eyes, she inhaled and exhaled and walks to a grassy area near the square area and sat down to do some breathing exercises. She thought to herself, "What would they think.." She knew that one day during the school year, she was either going to be bumping into one of them, and she was going to tell them her giant secret, eventually. So, clearing her mind and thinking about what to say was going to be a good idea than being worried and just sitting and biting her fingernails, which is of course not going to help her nervousness. She was continuing to inhale and exhale for a couple of minutes until she was getting a clear mind. "I am a.." she thought to herself as some words started to go into her mind, in a slowish way.

Kanon walked to the beast plaza, holding his schedule up and looking around, trying to find his way. He had been here a week by now, and still had trouble finding his way around. He spotted his second cousin doing Yoga, and decided to talk to her. He was glad when he found out that she didn't hate him for his father's actions. Sighing, he approached her "Hello, Karissa."

As she was doing her exercise, she was cleaning out some thoughts, that were going to be finally going to be realistic, as this was going to be a reality. She was going to finally tell one of her cousins her confession, as she was not sure on how she was going to react to it. Would he be happy for her that she finally came out of the closet, like she did with her father and sisters, or was he going to be reacting badly? She was a bit nervous, but, this is going to be part of life, as she was going to come out of the closet to some close friends that she was going to be meeting in the future.. as this was going to be her giant confession to everyone, even to her teachers. She just hoped that her other family members was going to be accepting of her, as one way of finding out was just telling straight out. She then heard a familiar voice, going near her and she opened her eyes, and it was her male cousin, Kanon. He did look somewhat glad to see her, and she shot him a smile back in return. She felt herself gulping as she still feeling butterflies in her stomach. "Hello there, Kanon. How are you doing today?" She asked, as she wanted to talk to him first before confessing as she did not want to start right away. She got up and gives him a small curtsy. "I've been doing some Yoga for myself, as there was things in my mind that I want to say, but.. to be honest, I'm scared to tell people because.. I don't want rocks being thrown at.. me.." She said, and gave out a small sigh.

Kanon sat on the ground next to her "I've been doing...alright I guess, but I still have trouble getting around." He got alarmed when she talked about rocks being thrown at her "Why...would they throw rocks at you?"

This was it, as this was going to be the reason as to her thinking why students will be throwing rocks at her. She quickly closes her eyes as she was inhaling and exhaling, and she was sighing to herself, as she thought that this was going to be a touchy subject to talk about, especially to her cousin who she have not seen in a very long time. At least he was doing fine, which is good on his part. She felt her skin shivering with fear of him being alarmed because of her orientation, but, she had to get it out one way or another. She looks up at him, and drew out another sigh, as she was quickly gathering her thoughts. "Well, Kanon. The reason why I'm scared of people throwing rocks at me, is because of my orientation. I am...." She then felt some tears slowly coming out of her eyes and looked up at him. "I am a.." She then sighed again as this is her cousin, and not a complete stranger, so, she was still trying to think positive, and it is a family member that she is confessing to. "I am a.. lesbian. My father did not accept me at first because he wanted me to fall in love with a man. I tend to like women more than men. I somehow feel more attracted to girls..because I think they are really.. beautiful and.. hot.." She said, as she was looking up at him. "To be fair, I do not have any idea as to why my father had to give into me because of my orientation. I wish he was more acceptable at first when I confessed to him.. " He said, as she felt more heated tears coming down, as she was hoping that Kanon was going to be acceptable of this..

Kanon blinked at his cousin's confession "Were you expecting me to get mad?" He hesitantly wrapped an arm around his cousin's shoulder "It's okay with me if you're alesbian, and if so eo e tive you trouble, remember you're related to a VK, and we don't tend to mess around when we're upset."

As soon as she heard that question, she nods, and in hear heart, she was very frightened that he will either say things to her. She felt his arm going around her and she did sob in his chest very softly. "Yes, I was expecting other family members to baffle me or better yet, tell me that I am nothing but a nutcase because of me liking other women, sexually." She said, with a couple of whimpers coming out of her mouth. "Why didn't father accept me in the first place? I felt as though I forced him to accept me for who I am.. I should have kept it hidden.. and not have him be angry at me. I told him I was turning eighteen soon, and I was going to be having my own life of meeting people. I mean, my sisters accepted right away, why not him.." She whimpered some more. She then heard him saying that he will accept her of being a lesbian, and she did give out a happy sigh. At the same time, she was scared of other people making fun of her because she was kissing another girl or her having a lesbian lover. "I am glad, that you are acceptable of my orientation.. " She said, with a small whimper, as it was a giant sigh of relief. She then kisses his cheek as a sign of saying, "Thank you, dear cousin". She held onto her cousin and shivered for a couple of more seconds until her venting sobs were finally out. ((Sorry, if I am making this too emotional.. its a lot of feelings xP.))

He had never been a shoulder to cry on. Having never had anyone to come to hi when upset, so it was kinda weird having Karissa cry into his shoulder "I think your father is just confused. It probabky isn't something he's used to the idea of, so he's trying to figure it out. He'll come around." He blushed at her kissing his cheek, no one ever did that to him either. He sat with her until her sobs died down "Do you feel better?"

She saw that he was accepting, and she was glad that he was able to listen to her giant confession, which did include a lot of bravery and courage. Yet, she even noticed him being a little awkward to her hugging and crying onto his shoulder, she was his cousin, so, he hoped that he won't be feeling weird around her. She heard him mentioning that father could be slowly coming around to her being a lesbian, as she was hoping that he was going to fully accept her being this way, and she was still feeling sad about it. "I just hope one day, he will fully come around and not have me be stuck in my room forever..." She said, as she was still feeling worried, but, talking about it made her slowly feel better. "I'm just worried about other students making fun of me because of my orientation, and when I see a woman, I feel shy around her.." She said, with a small blush appearing around her face as she thought about a woman in a bikini running around a beach. "Do you know how long it will take for most dads to accept their daughters' orientations?" She asked him, with a small whimper. She was even afraid to ask her own father that, so, she had to ask a family member. She then saw that he was going to stay with her until she felt better, and that made her feel glad that she had cousin to rely on. As soon as she heard his other question of her feeling better, she nods. "Well, a little. I'm just still confused.. I don't know how long it will take for him to accept me.." She responds with another sigh. "I'm glad that you don't mind me telling you this.." She murmured, and slowly wipes her tears with her hands.

"Like I said, just let me know if someone gives you trouble." He nodded "Im sure Hercules..." he hestitantly spoke the name, as it was the man who punched his dad into the river styx "...will come around, from what I heard, he's a overly nice guy." He didn't blame Karissa for anything between her dad and his own "if you don't tell what you feel, it only hurts you."

He was even that reliable that he would do something IF someone makes fun of her being a lesbian. She did grin at him and thought that her cousin was not only accepting but also, would be there by her side if anything would happen. She then heard him mentioning the name of her father in a somewhat hesitant. "Hey, it's ok. You can just say, "your father". She cooed, with a small wink. She knew that father is a nice guy, but why did he have to yell and criticize her because of her thinking sensual thoughts about women. "I hope so..." She replied to that comment. She did listen to his other comment about hurting herself emotionally if keeping her confession inside. "I'm trying to get over that fear of telling a best friend...and I'm just scared thinking that person will hate me.." She said, with a long sigh. She did not want others to hate her because of her orientation.

He was right. If a friend can accept her liking friends, that friend would be there for her, no matter what. She nods at his statement and she had high hopes of finding some friends that will be acceptable, regarding her orientation. "Hey, I'll keep that in mind. Besides...love is love..." She said, and blushed at the thought of a woman in short skirt. Of course, people will be acceptable and some will not, so, she just had to be very mindful when telling people about her orientation. "I'm just curious...does your sister know about me being a lesbian?" She asked, with a small look of curiosity.

She thought that he may have to tell her himself, or she has to tell his sister, since she has to start getting used to feedback, whether positive or negative. She then rested her head on her cousin's shoulder, and thought it was just relaxing and after talking about it with him, she could imagine he and her getting close, as good cousins. "I'm grateful to having you as a cousin to rely on." She said, and hugged him and was even glad that he was accepting of her liking the same gender.
